It was with great pleasure that the VAM Realities project partners gathered in Milan, Italy, for the fourth project partner meeting Oct 18th to 20th 2021. This was the first meeting of the partnership since the beginning of the Covid Pandemic, and the partners were delighted to meet in person once again.
The partnership discussed the completed deliverables of the project, such as the VAM Realities State of the Art Report (available at the VAM Realities webpage) and ongoing activities such as the VAM Realities University Business Cooperation handbook. The partner also welcomed the positive feedback from the European Commission mid-term evaluation of the project and focused their minds on the main activity of the second half of the project; the VAM Realities SME Coaching program. This coaching program will engage with SMEs over the next 12 months in EU countries, supporting SMEs in the adoption of XR technologies.
The meeting was hosted by CNR/STIIMA on the shores of Lake Como in Lecco, and included a visit to hightech companies in the Lombardia region as well as the XR technology laboratory of CNR/STIIMA and a presentation of the incredible research work being done by CNR/STIMMA in Milano.
