University Researcher / University Lecturer Riku Roihankorpi

While the PI of the project LiDiA (2021-23, lidia.fi, funded by the Kone Foundation), I am currently employed as University Lecturer in Theatre and Drama Research and Media Culture at Tampere University and as University Researcher (Head of Digital Content Development) at The University of the Arts Helsinki. The project LiDiA envisions new artistic and production concepts aiming at sustainable breakthroughs in extended reality (XR) live performance, especially in the context of small to midsize arts & culture venues. My academic background reflects performance philosophy & ethics as well as the politics and praxis of arts-based/artistic research in and with technological performance.
