Assistant Professor Mateja Marovič

I am working in a field of social pedagogy and I am interested in all topics which are somehow connected with social pedagogy. My primary research area includes the participation of children/adolescents in educational institutions (as well as in the entire spectrum of education), which in the field of Slovenian primary education represents a pioneering approach to understanding and establishing the concept of participation in children/adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems and / or disorders. My marginal research areas are related to work experience and various professional skills, which in addition to the population with emotional and behavioral problems and/or disorders also include: socio-pedagogical diagnostics, children and adolescents with special needs as well as work with parents or. the importance of their inclusion in the upbringing and education of the marginalized/deprived population.
