Dirk Neldner

I am the artistic director of the European theatre network PlayOn! (www.play-on.eu). PlayOn! is a large scale cooperation project between European theatres, focusing on new storytelling with immersive technologies and universities from the creative digital sector. I also produced theatre performances using Augmented Reality and spatial sound enviroments (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhYU_e1nPS4). My interest lies in the interface of theatre incorporating immersive technologies. In particular AR and binaural sound in live theatre performances.I have a large, worldwide network of experts in the arts and academia and diverse experience in the application of immersive technologies in the arts. Due to my many years of experience, I can mediate between the two worlds (traditional theatre and digitality) and initiate and accompany creative processes.
