Senior Lecturer Thommy Eriksson
Description of VR/AR/MR interest, experience, expertise
Thommy Eriksson – with a Ph. D. in Applied IT – teach and do research on digital media and its application in storytelling, teaching and for remote collaboration. His Ph. D. thesis from 2016 explored how virtuality is represented in fiction, primarily science fiction feature films, and since then Thommy have been doing research on virtual reality for education and for remote collaboration. He is also studio director for the Kuggen Studio (student makerspace) and Kuggen Medialab (research lab).
