I work as the maintenance and reliability manager at Schindler Elevator Corporation’s service business. I am mainly driven by the challenge to continuously improve the service business’ maintenance operations productivity and efficiency, and ensure the reliability of our elevators and escalators through quality improvement programs, use of latest technology such as IoT and machine learning, and by utilizing learnings, best-demonstrated practices, and results based on applied research.My research expertise is in fractional-order control systems and my current research interests are now in reliability demonstration, design for maintainability, and prescriptive maintenance.
