Head of the Virtual Reality Group at the Institute for Computer Science and Control. Accomplished 4 large scale XR related international research and development projects (HuNoRob, VisionAir, NeuroCogSpace, VLFT). Contract based target XR development leader in various projects like human-sized immersive display (CAVE) and medical consultation in shared virtual reality space. The C++architectural backbone designer of the open-source virtual reality software library ApertusVR. Member and active contributor of the OpenXR workgroup and standard at Khronos Group. Received an innovation award by TÜV Rheinland (TRIC/13/05131Title: For the Development of the VirCA Platform which is a pilot virtual collaboration system of the future Internet) Author of several XR related scientific publications like "Spatial Memory for Augmented Personal Working” and “VR and Depth Camera based Human-Robot Collision Predictor System with 3-Finger Gripper Assisted Assembly Device”
